Mavive and Fortuny: a new chapter in venetian artistic perfumery

Mavive proudly announces its new collaboration with Fortuny, the historic Venetian brand, for the development and international distribution of a fragrance collection inspired by the creative universe of Mariano Fortuny. Through The Merchant of Venice's high perfumery, Mavive will convey into olfactory essence the genius of one of the most visionary artists of the 20th century, further solidifying its commitment to showcasing Venetian excellence on a global scale.

This synergy arises from the convergence of two deeply aligned entities, which share a strong bond with Venice, an international vision, and the ability to innovate while respecting tradition. Just as Fortuny transformed the concept of elegance through fabric, The Merchant of Venice will capture that same essence in perfume.

The team of master perfumers, supported by the renowned set designer Pier Luigi Pizzi, will bring to life a collection of three olfactory creations, encased in bottles inspired by the sinuous lines of the Delphos gown—Fortuny’s sartorial masterpiece that revolutionized women’s fashion in the 1970s. The collection will be unveiled by the end of 2025.

With this new collaboration, Mavive reinforces its role as an ambassador for Venetian artistic perfumery, celebrating a cultural heritage that continues to inspire the future.
