Mavive proudly announces a new international partnership with North Sails, a global icon of ocean-inspired lifestyle and adventure. This collaboration gives rise to a fragrance collection that translates the brand’s core values into an olfactory language: freedom, exploration, performance, and respect for the environment.

The project marks North Sails’ entry into the world of perfumery and opens a new chapter for both companies, bringing together expertise and vision in a contemporary sensory narrative.

The launch was celebrated in Milan with an exclusive event at the North Sails flagship store, where guests were guided through the brand’s olfactory universe together with perfumer Alessandro Olmo from the fragrance house Givaudan, discovering the raw materials and inspirations behind each creation.

The first two fragrances, Ocean and Wind, embody the fundamental elements of North Sails’ identity: the depth of the ocean and the energy of the wind. Two complementary Eau de Toilette designed for those who live with a free spirit and a desire to explore.

Ocean, created by the perfumer Alessandro Olmo, is a sensory journey that captures the freshness and intensity of the sea. Bright notes of grapefruit and lemon blend with a spicy touch of cardamom, evolving into an aromatic heart of clary sage, lavender, and geranium. The base, warm and enveloping, combines patchouli, vetiver, and benzoin, creating an elegant trail that balances marine freshness with woody depth.

Wind, created by the perfumer Gaël Montero, expresses the invisible energy of air in motion, balancing purity and dynamism. A vibrant opening of black pepper and orange is enhanced by the luminous, resinous facets of elemi. Its transparent aquatic heart settles into a mineral, woody base of akigalawood, patchouli, and vetiver, leaving a fresh, modern, and distinctive signature.

The bottles, inspired by the movement of sails and the tension toward the horizon, reflect the brand’s identity, while the packaging—made with recyclable materials—confirms a shared commitment to a more sustainable and responsible vision.

The line is completed by two all-over body shampoos, extending the fragrances into a body care experience and transforming everyday gestures into a sensory ritual.
